About the Project

When I came to Shook Construction, I was given a nearly blank slate to develop learning. As an educator, the first thing any curriculum designer should do is align objectives, standards and assessments. To help lead learning, these objectives were aligned to the company's strategic plan.

The 2025 strategic plan includes three main categories for progress. Those include operational excellence, capacity building, and intentional growth. In order to align the learning objectives with these categories, the above chart was created. These standards were then utilized in the development of Shook Build U quarterly learning paths from 2022-2025.
